Oh Jah Jamaican Corner delivered on every level. The plantains were sweet, perfectly caramelized, and impossible to stop eating. The jerk chicken was smoky, spicy, and so flavorful it had me licking my fingers. A highlight was the beef patties—they instantly took me back to being a kid in New York, grabbing one from the corner spot after school. Every bite was packed with authentic flavor and nostalgia. Great food and generous portions!

Fantastic Jamaican food here! The best ox tail I've ever had. The jerk chicken and goat curry were both excellent too and I don't think you can get a better beef patty in Washington.

I've been to Jamaica a few times in the last 2 years and their cuisine is amazing, so to find this place was an absolute blessing!

I stopped by to see if they had beef patties I could take to go, and am so glad I did. It's run by a super friendly guy who had a couple delicious patties to go, fresh and toasty in minutes. The pastry was so flaky, perfectly buttery, with nicely seasoned filling. Not spicy but went great w hot sauce. Excellent value and a good size. I'll be back to try everything else on the menu probably, the pics of it look great.
